Design & Development

This website was designed, themed and developed by Torpedo Factory Online services.

Platform

The site is developed on a Drupal 7 open source platform using pre-built modules and some bespoke modules developed by the Torpedo Factory.

Standards

The site has been coded to XHTML 0.1 Transitional for optimum cross browser compatibility.

The design, development and written content has been designed to comply with W3C WAI Priority 2 accessibility as set by the Disability Discrimination Act (1995) that came into force in 2002.

Videos

Videos used on the website have been captured and created by Torpedo Factory Films division and optimised for the internet.  The landing page videos are streamed from Amazon CloudFront web streaming infrastructure.

RSS News Feeds

RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. This is an easy way for you to keep updated on news from your favorite websites. Using specialised software called a News Reader, you can subscribe to feeds like this one, and be alerted every time the site has news.

RSS also lets website owners easily incorporate a changing list of headlines from another site into their own sites or weblogs. You are welcome to use the Torpedo Factory feed on your own site, but please let us know at enquiries@torpedofactory.co.uk if you do so.
