Gordon AV were privileged to be approached by Lambeth Palace to organise the AV equipment and stage it for the Pope's historic official visit to the UK in 2010.
Due to the nature of the event, with the world's focus upon it, it was vital to have a smooth, seamless production. Gordon AV assigned an experienced Senior Project Manager to the event, along with 2 technicians, and along with Lambeth Palace officials, staged the set. This comprised microphones, a lectern, speakers at intervals around the room and a camera for still photography.
Due to the professional approach, Gordon AV were subsequently asked to return and stage the 'Faith in Politics' debate with Gordon Brown in 2011.
