The White Paper Company Ltd produces expert-led intensive one-day conferences for business professionals, specialising in public sectors - legal, property, construction, law enforcement and local government.

The conferences are designed to identify current and potential business issues, attract speakers of the highest calibre, and provide innovative programmes for the exchange of ideas and strategies.

Torpedo Factory Films media production team have filmed several of these conferences as well as recorded them on to DVD for use by the White Paper Company, the speakers and the various sectors.

The project included filming the conference, supplying a camera with cameraman, switchers, microphones, speakers, sound and 2 technicians to operate the equipment. The venue was scouted prior to the conference for set-up planning and equipment placement, to ascertain acoustics, camera positioning and general technical operation.

Pre-production involved preparing a PowerPoint presentation supplied by the client for inclusion in the filming sequence, that could be referred to during the conference, using the switchers to alternate on screen.

Finally, the whole event was recorded on DVD, and hard copies produced - these were designed to be used by the client as a last minute replacement of absent conference speakers.  The media production team held copies for this reason.
