Torpedo Factory was asked to help Studio B Architects to redesign and develop their new website in time for the launch of their rebrand.
Studio B is an Australian-based Architectural firm specialising in sensitive contemporary architecture for historic buildings and auditoriums.
Studio B required an online portfolio reflecting their creative designs, to attract new clients. The website needed to draw potential customers, be optimised for search engines and be easy to maintain. The website was required immediately to enable Studio B to prepare for its launch.
We worked with Studio B on a design for 5 core templates, each used to present the work and services Studio B offers in a dynamic and engaging way.
We specified a Drupal open source platform with a suite of pre-built modules. This provided Studio B with search engine optimisation and functionality to easily update and maintain the website, using a carefully configured WYSIWYG editor that includes an image gallery.
Links to social media channels were included. We helped Studio B develop a Social Media strategy to take advantage of the networking opportunities within Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Flickr, in time for the re-branding.
From design acceptance, the website was themed and delivered for UAT (user acceptance testing) within two weeks, enabling Studio B to have full control of their new website and to add and edit content 6 weeks in advance of the launch of their new branding.
