Each year they organise and run The International Gaming Awards attracting the top casino and gaming venue operators from all over the world.
The brief was to design a stage set incorporating two large 16.9 aspect projection screens, and to light it to create the maximum effect. LED lighting was used to light up the stage set. Mac moving lights with star gobos were used to flash round the room when a winner was announced and then settle slowly revolving onto the set during the presentations.
In the planning stages we provided a 3D image of the stage and set design. The venue had a in-built stage area separate to the awards stage we erected that had a dull black background which was lined with white set panels with clear up-lights, this area was lit up when the dancers appeared on this stage.
Projection needed to be bright and clear so we used 6500 lumen projectors with long throw lenses projecting from the balcony. Repeater plasma screens were used around the room so everyone had a clear view of the Award Slides & video. For the sound we used a digital mixing desk with a D & B sound system for maximum clear sound quality.
We were asked to provide 14 additional plasma screens to be placed in the cocktail area and entrance foyer for sponsors logo and charity appeal film and donation details.
A follow spot and operator was placed on the balcony to light up both stage areas and winners as they made their way to the stage. Cabaret was provided by Incognito using our radio microphones and sound system.
At the end of the evening the client congratulated our Project Manager. Steve Maskell and the team on an excellent, professional and successful event.
